THE CHANGING LANES EXPERIENCE

In our hybrid men's groups, you’ll experience all of this:

Tools to battle sexual sin

Three levels of accountability with other group members

Large group, small group, and one-on-one

New and deeper relationship with Jesus Christ

New life that will transform NOT only you but generations to follow.

“Every week, the group challenged and encouraged me to pursue, not just simply ‘not acting out’ in my addiction, but living the life that God had intended me to live as His man, as a husband, and as a father.”

- CL #4 Graduate

“This program saved my life and gave me hope as a man and to be a better father. I found my love for God again and got my walk with Jesus back. I will forever be grateful for the men I have found in this program.”

-CL #31 Graduate

The change Jesus brought to my life through Changing Lanes was noticeable to everyone around me, especially my family. Even now, my children are open about their struggles, something they wouldn't have been if not for this experience.

FAQ

What are CL small groups?
A CL small group is a gathering of twelve individuals who meet weekly for teaching, check-in, accountability, and community.
How long is a weekly CL meeting?
A typical CL meeting is approximately three hours (One hour for teaching and two hours for check-in).
How long is the CL Men program?
Eighteen months
What is the format of a weekly CL meeting?
Each meeting consists of one hour for teaching and two hours for check-in.
Does CL refer members to counseling?
We do not have a referral service set up, but we highly encourage members to be in individual or marriage counseling. A person who attends both individual counseling and a group will exponentially increase their chance of finding freedom.
Is CL a 12-Step program?
CL is different in that we focus on accountability, community, discipleship, and transformation through the power of Jesus Christ. Each session includes a one-hour teaching session, after which the group is divided into two smaller groups for an interactive check-in. Group members are required to communicate with their small group leaders through the messaging function on our app throughout the week. Our focus is not considered recovery. Changing Lanes is focused on transformation, leading to lives being restored.
Is CL related to Sexaholics Anonymous, Celebrate Recovery, or any other support groups?
CL is an independent ministry. God led our founder, Brett Hendrix, to start helping men in 2007.
Does CL offer any resources or support for the partners of CL members?
We do offer resources within CL for partners of CL members. Please get in touch with Brittany at brittany@changinglanes.org for more information.
How much does CL cost?
The cost depends on your decision to join the group. In-person attendance is $1200. Online attendance is $1,520.

We offer three other payment options:

Partial scholarships are available. Please email info@changinglanes.org to ask about our scholarship opportunities.
What is covered by the CL group fee?
The cost covers the group fee, books, exclusive and confidential use within the CL app, and materials.
What is required of a member of CL?
Most people join CL because of the secrets they have kept for years. To help a CL member find transformation, we require a member to join his group weekly, participate in the teaching discussion, learn the verse given each week, complete homework and/or reading assignments before the next meeting, share transparently during check-in, engage with their group regularly throughout the week via a group message, and weekly meet with their assigned accountability partner.
Does CL have a physical location?
Yes, our offices are located at 9410 East 51st Street, Suite E, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74145.
